Uttar Pradesh Govt Scrutinizes Districts Over Poor Grievance Resolution

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has sought reports from various district administrations regarding poor performance in addressing complaints. The scrutiny follows a significant number of grievances reported via the Integrated Grievance Redressal System, CM Helpline, and Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas. District magistrates and police officials may face action.

The Uttar Pradesh government has initiated a review of district administrations over inadequate handling of public complaints received through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System, CM Helpline, and Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been vocal about the delays, receiving numerous complaints over recent days, according to an official release.

Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh scrutinized the complaints resolution process, revealing poor performance in several districts between September 1 and September 25. Districts such as Deoria, Bhadohi, and Gonda showed high dissatisfaction levels among complainants. Singh reprimanded the officials of these districts, directing them to enhance their performance.

Conversely, districts including Auraiya and Lakhimpur Kheri were commended for their effective grievance resolution in August and September. The findings of Singh's review will be submitted to the Chief Minister's Office for further action.
