The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has leveled serious allegations against a company tied to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP, Sanjeev Arora, accusing it and other entities of misusing industrial land to undertake residential projects, thereby causing financial harm to the Punjab government.

Raids were conducted on October 7 across multiple cities including Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Delhi, and Gurugram. The ED targeted the premises of Arora, Hampton Sky Reality (formerly known as Ritesh Properties Industries Limited), and Royal Industries Ltd, seizing incriminating documents and digital devices during the searches.

Sanjeev Arora has reiterated his compliance with the law, expressing surprise over the raids. Meanwhile, AAP's national convener Arvind Kejriwal criticized the ED's actions as politically driven. The case originates from a Ludhiana court complaint and a FIR, focusing on violations of land allotment conditions for industrial development.
