This remark was made during the Seventh Inter-Governmental Consultations with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Modi highlighted that the India-Germany relationship is transformational, marked by cooperation across sectors such as defense, technology, and sustainable development. This partnership symbolizes mutual trust, as opposed to being merely transactional.

He also praised Germany's 'Focus on India' strategy and highlighted new initiatives that aim to elevate the partnership from a 'Whole of Government' to a 'Whole of Nation' approach. The IGC framework initiated in 2011, supports comprehensive reviews of cooperation between these democracies.
