Israel's Defence Minister firmly stated that the country would not agree to a ceasefire with Lebanon unless Hezbollah disarms and withdraws north of the Litani River. Ensuring the safe return of residents to northern Israel is a priority for the government.
Speaking on his inaugural visit to the Northern Command with the Chief of Staff, Minister Israel Katz emphasized, "We will not make any ceasefires, nor will we ease our efforts. Any arrangement must fulfill the war's goals, securing Israel's right to address terrorist activities independently."
Hezbollah's infrastructure in Beirut faces continuous pressure, with Israeli forces determined to weaken the organization across the region.
