The war, nearing its third anniversary, has imposed a heavy toll on both Russia and Ukraine. However, Moscow’s economy is proving resilient, supported by stockpiles of Soviet-era armor and artillery, as per the International Institute for Strategic Studies.

The IISS also notes that while Russia maintains its military forces, Ukraine faces challenges, including depleted personnel numbers and resource shortages, despite receiving Western military equipment.
