Illegal Border Crossing: Ten Bangladeshis Apprehended at Bhubaneswar
Ten Bangladeshi nationals were arrested at Bhubaneswar railway station for entering India illegally without documentation. Among them were six men, three women, and a minor. The arrests followed a tip-off, and the group confessed to crossing the border with a smuggler's help. Bangladeshi and Indian currency were seized.

In a significant development, ten Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended at Bhubaneswar railway station for allegedly entering India without valid travel documents. The group, consisting of six men, three women, and a minor, was intercepted by the Special Task Force of the Odisha Police after receiving a tip-off.
Authorities revealed that the individuals admitted to crossing the border illegally with the assistance of a smuggler near Dhuburi in Assam. The group reportedly came to Bhubaneswar with the intent to settle in the city, according to SP (STF) Rabi Narayan Satpathy.
Seized from the suspects were seven mobile phones, Bangladeshi currency, and Indian currency notes. A case has since been registered under the Foreigners Act, highlighting ongoing issues around border security and illegal immigration.
