Gunmen Kill Two Police Officers in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, two police officers were shot dead by unknown gunmen. This incident occurred in Tanda Dam, Kohat district. A Counter Terrorism Department Sub-Inspector and a constable were targeted. Authorities have launched a search operation to apprehend the culprits, but no group has claimed responsibility yet.

On Monday, two police officers were shot dead by unknown gunmen in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, confirming reports from local officials. The tragic incident unfolded in Tanda Dam, located in the Kohat district, 65 kilometers southwest of Peshawar.
The officers, a Sub-Inspector from the Counter Terrorism Department and a constable, were traveling when they were targeted by the assailants. The attack instantly claimed their lives, with both officers dying on the spot.
Following the incident, their bodies were transferred to a nearby hospital for postmortem examination. Law enforcement has initiated a massive manhunt in the area, but as of yet, no group has stepped forward to assert responsibility for the fatal assault, often aimed at officials tackling terrorism.
