This development follows extensive discussions lasting over eight hours in Saudi Arabia, where Ukraine agreed to a temporary cessation of hostilities, with the U.S. renewing military aid and intelligence exchanges.

Rubio, while addressing the media during a stopover in Ireland, underscored the global anticipation for Moscow's response. He emphasized the need for Russia to seriously contemplate ending hostilities, suggesting that any refusal could reveal Moscow's true intentions regarding the conflict.
