The Kremlin announced efforts to ensure security at Moscow's WW2 victory parade following Ukrainian drone strikes targeting the city. The parade, a major event, is to be attended by 29 world leaders, including China's President Xi Jinping.
Moscow's air defenses intercepted 14 drones, causing airport disruptions before Xi's expected arrival. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Kyiv of terrorism, while Russian attacks struck Ukrainian cities, claiming two lives.
Despite the security threats, Russia maintains its proposed three-day ceasefire, while Ukraine seeks a 30-day agreement aligned with a U.S. proposal.
