Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, has declared that Russia is blatantly dismissing a planned 30-day ceasefire, initially agreed upon by Ukraine and European nations. This ceasefire was intended to commence on Monday, marking an effort to de-escalate tensions.

In a statement on the social media platform X, Sybiha mentioned his recent talks with European counterparts in London. The meeting focused on potential measures against Russia, specifically targeting the Russian banking and energy sectors with proposed sanctions, as well as considering actions against the Russian central bank.

The ministers also evaluated the possibility of extending further defensive aid packages to Ukraine, highlighting ongoing international efforts to support the nation amidst a challenging geopolitical landscape.
