Impersonator Nabbed for Deceptive Google Pay Fraud
A man named Imaan Ilyas Khan was arrested for impersonating a Google Pay executive. He attempted to siphon money from a shop owner by claiming to update a digital payment system. Khan was caught when the owner noticed the discrepancy, leading to the arrest for fraud.

A man pretending to be a Google Pay executive has been apprehended for allegedly attempting to defraud a shop owner. Imaan Ilyas Khan approached a tailoring shop owner, Mainuddin Sajjad Ansari, in Kurla, falsely claiming his expertise in digital payment systems.
Under the guise of updating the system, Khan requested Ansari's mobile phone. After unlocking it, Ansari handed it over, allowing Khan to stage a system update. Before leaving, Khan assured Ansari the update would complete in 10 to 15 minutes.
Feeling uneasy, Ansari reviewed his transaction history and discovered a transfer of Rs 10,000. Confronted, Khan feigned a mistake, reversed the transaction, but was nevertheless reported to the police. The police moved swiftly to arrest Khan, while investigations into the fraudulent activities continue.
