Crackdown on Naxalites: Six Arrested with Explosives in Chhattisgarh

In a joint operation by Chhattisgarh's security forces, six Naxalites, including two women leaders with bounties on their heads, were apprehended in Bijapur district. The arrests took place amid the Naxalite-observed martyrs' week.
The District Reserve Guard and Central Reserve Police Force's elite CoBRA unit captured two prominent figures, Uika Seytu, DAKMS president, and Uika Payki, KAMS head, from a forest area near Dharmapur village.
The operation yielded a cache of explosives, including tiffin bombs, detonators, pamphlets related to Maoist activities, and other materials. The detainees were presented in a local court, which ordered their detention.
