Chhattisgarh's Fight Against Maoists: A Success Story

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the state's progress against Maoist influence. Over 445 Maoists were neutralized, and significant infrastructure improvements were made. The leaders also planned the Amrit Rajat Mahotsav 2025 to celebrate Chhattisgarh's 25th anniversary.

Since December 2023, major operations have led to the neutralization of 445 Maoists and the arrest of over 1,500 insurgents. The state has since pursued an 'Integrated Development and Security' policy, emphasizing infrastructure, education, and healthcare improvements in Maoist-affected areas.

Additionally, preparations for the Amrit Rajat Mahotsav 2025 were also discussed, targeting the showcasing of the state's cultural heritage and economic progress. Amit Shah praised Chhattisgarh's initiatives, pledging the Central government's ongoing support.
