By midday, the Shanghai Composite index had increased by 0.2% to 3,567.02 points, overcoming losses incurred at the opening, while the blue-chip CSI300 remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index rose by 0.5% to 24,627.25. However, the market sentiment remains volatile amidst U.S.-China trade negotiations, with investors closely monitoring upcoming trade data and CPI readings later this week.
