Devastating Air Strike Hits Ukrainian Town of Lozova

One person died and ten others, including two children, were wounded in Russia's most severe air attack on Lozova, Ukraine. The attack damaged crucial infrastructure and left parts of the region without power and water. Ukrainian forces reported downing many of the attacking drones.

KYIV, Aug 5 (Reuters) - A significant Russian air strike targeted the Ukrainian town of Lozova, resulting in one casualty and injuring ten others, including two children, officials reported on Tuesday.

The extensive assault inflicted damage on the train station and other critical infrastructure, marking it as the largest attack since the conflict began, state rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia announced.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy confirmed that over 25 drones were involved in the attack, with Ukraine's air force successfully downing 29 out of the 46 drones deployed countrywide overnight.
