A 34-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in Thane's Naupada area after being admonished for his alcoholism, a police official said on Friday.
Satish Yadav jumped from his 20th floor flat in a high-rise on Thursday night, he added.
''He came home after consuming liquor and was admonished by his brother. In a fit of rage, Yadav jumped from the balcony of his flat. He died on the spot. An accidental death case has been registered,'' the official said.
