Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced on Monday the country's strategic use of its own military technology in recent operations against Russian infrastructure. He confirmed that domestically produced missiles were employed, showcasing Ukraine's self-reliance in military resources.
Speaking at a briefing in Kyiv, Zelenskiy clarified that the operations involved only Ukrainian-made products, emphasizing that not all of the strikes involved drones. This is a significant move in the ongoing conflict, as it demonstrates Ukraine's growing capability to produce and deploy its own military hardware.
Furthermore, Zelenskiy reassured that the supply of U.S. weapons to Ukraine has not seen any disruption due to the current governmental shutdown in Washington, ensuring continued support from its international allies.
