Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan revealed these efforts during a candid conversation with reporters on a flight returning from Azerbaijan.
Erdogan elaborately noted that Turkish officials are participating in critical negotiations in Egypt, aligning with Trump's peace efforts, and communicating Ankara's stance to Hamas. This dialogue seeks to encourage acceptance of a U.S.-backed solution to the longstanding conflict in Gaza.
Furthermore, Erdogan stressed the importance of Gaza's place within a Palestinian state governed by Palestinians. He underscored the need to deliberate the role of foreign forces in Gaza's post-war security, reiterating Turkey's readiness to support these international endeavors.
