Ukraine's Tactical Drone Strikes Disrupt Moscow Airspace

Ukraine has intensified its drone assaults on Moscow and several other Russian regions, marking the third consecutive night of such operations. The attacks have disrupted air traffic across the country and posed a threat to industrial facilities in Russia's southern areas, according to Russian authorities on Wednesday.

Russia's air defence units intercepted a total of 100 Ukrainian drones overnight, with specific interceptions reported in the Moscow region and various border areas, as confirmed by the Russian defence ministry on Telegram. Kyiv has sustained long-distance drone strikes aimed at military and industrial targets to undermine Russia's war economy and bring the conflict to Russian territories.

Moscow's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, reported multiple waves of attacks on the city, leading to brief closures of three of Moscow's four airports. Additionally, Ukraine targeted the Budyonnovsk industrial zone in the Stavropol region, although no significant damages or casualties were reported. The strikes continue to highlight tensions and Ukraine's tactical efforts in the ongoing conflict.
