In a significant diplomatic development, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul stated on Monday that the recent discussions between the United States and Ukraine in Geneva have led to a 'decisive success' for Europe. The revised plan aims to end the ongoing war with Russia.
According to Wadephul, the 28-point plan now excludes any issues concerning Europe, including NATO. This change marks a significant victory achieved the previous day, as stated during his interview with Deutschlandfunk radio.
Wadephul emphasized the importance of ensuring that any agreements regarding this conflict must include input from European and Ukrainian representatives. 'It was clear from the outset, as repeatedly stated, that agreements must not bypass Europeans or Ukrainians,' he outlined.
