A tragic incident has shaken train commuters as a Navy officer's wife was allegedly pushed to her death from a Patna–Anand Vihar special train by a ticket examiner in Uttar Pradesh. The woman's family has filed a complaint, claiming the Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) pushed her during a dispute about her ticket.
However, various co-passengers provided written testimonies defending the TTE, claiming that she jumped willingly after being asked to move to a different compartment due to her incorrect ticket. An FIR has been registered at the Government Railway Police station, bringing attention to this complex case.
The victim, Arti Yadav, was reportedly carrying a ticket for a different train and was instructed by TTE Santosh Kumar to shift to the general coach. Passengers confirmed she appeared agitated and ultimately leapt from the train. Her husband, Ajay Singh, disputes these claims, insisting on further investigation, as conflicting accounts raise questions about what truly transpired.
