Vigilance and Anti-Corruption authorities have spearheaded the arrests, with the state's special vigilance units and police stations playing pivotal roles. Despite 302 arrests by the Anti-Corruption wing and 88 by the Chief Minister's Special Vigilance Cell, convictions remain elusive as cases linger at the trial stage.
Highlighting the crackdown's impact, 23 of the apprehended employees have been dismissed from service. Charge sheets have been submitted in 291 cases, yet judicial proceedings continue for most.
