Inter-State Cybercrime Gang Busted in Palamu
Palamu police arrested seven members of a cybercrime gang involved in an online betting scam. They operated through a betting app, handling 6,000 customers and earning about Rs 7 lakh daily. Seized items included mobile phones, ATM cards, and a laptop. The leader, Rahul Singh, was also arrested.

Palamu police have dismantled a major inter-state cybercrime gang reportedly involved in running an elaborate online betting scam through a mobile application.
According to Superintendent of Police Reeshma Ramesan, a raid conducted on a three-story building, acting on information from Hazaribag police, led to the arrest of seven suspects.
The operation uncovered the gang's substantial earnings of approximately Rs 7 lakh daily while serving 6,000 customers across different states. Investigators seized multiple mobile phones, ATM cards, and a laptop during the arrest.
