The Allahabad High Court has mandated its registry to compile comprehensive information on support systems for persons with disabilities within its premises. This directive comes after a petition by Simaran and her husband, who faced accessibility issues in the court, with the husband suffering from a locomotor disability.

In their order, Justices Ajay Bhanot and Garima Prashad highlighted the challenges faced by the petitioner due to inadequate assistance when entering the court. To address the oversight, the court immediately facilitated a wheelchair and assistance for him.

Besides addressing accessibility concerns, the court also granted the couple protection from the wife's family, praising their union as a testament to love overcoming barriers.
