In a tragic incident early Wednesday morning, four constables from Morena's bomb squad lost their lives while another officer was critically injured in a collision in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The accident took place around 4 am on National Highway- 44, an official stated.

The collision involved the bomb detection and disposal squad's vehicle and a container truck that was inappropriately parked on the wrong side of the highway, stated Sumer Jagat, in-charge of Bandri police station. The impact of the crash was devastating, leaving the police vehicle severely damaged.

Unfortunately, four personnel died on the spot, identified as Constable Pradhuman Dixit, Constable Aman Kaurav, driver Paramlal Tomar, and dog master Vinod Sharma. The injured officer, Constable Rajiv Chauhan, was rushed to Bhopal's Bansal Hospital in critical condition. Authorities have registered a case and are searching for the truck driver.
