The government announced a significant 74% reduction in public grievance pendency from 2021 levels, according to Minister Jitendra Singh. This progress was achieved through improved disposal rates and the implementation of stricter timelines within the Centralised Public Grievances Redressal and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).

The system's enhancements include a reduction in grievance redressal timelines to 21 days and a new Review Meeting Module for central and state ministries, which has led to increased quality control. The government has also expanded access by integrating CPGRAMS with over 5 lakh Common Service Centres to facilitate rural grievance registration.

Minister Singh also introduced reforms such as mandatory grievance cells and comprehensive guidelines. The measures illustrate the system's renewed focus on addressing grievances promptly and efficiently, helping maintain a stable number of annual grievance receipts.
