Tragedy Strikes: Wall Collapse at Chhattisgarh Rice Mill Claims Lives

In a tragic accident in Chhattisgarh's Surajpur district, three labourers lost their lives while another was injured following the collapse of a wall at a private rice mill, officials reported on Saturday morning.
The unfortunate event unfolded in the Nayanpur area as workers were engaged in the removal of rice bags, triggering a sudden collapse that trapped two workers under the debris, causing instant fatalities, according to Surajpur Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur.
A fourth worker succumbed to injuries during treatment in a hospital, while one other individual remains hospitalized. The deceased have been identified as Ved Singh, Bhol Singh, and Vifal. Following the tragedy, local villagers gathered, demanding justice and compensation from the mill's management for the families of the deceased.
