President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed optimism on Monday regarding the potential for a dignified and enduring peace with Russia. This comes as the next set of peace talks involving Russian and U.S. officials is set to take place in Abu Dhabi this week.

Zelenskiy, following consultations with his negotiation team, stated that the Ukrainian delegation is scheduled to conduct bilateral meetings with American officials during the two-day talks commencing on Wednesday. These diplomatic interactions are seen as key to furthering the peace process.

He further noted that the bilateral security guarantees document with the United States is finalized. Zelenskiy is hopeful for significant advancement on documents concerning recovery and economic development, paving the way for a stable post-conflict future.
