Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the fallen CRPF personnel of the 2019 Pulwama attack, underscoring terrorism as humanity's gravest adversary. Shah reaffirmed India's unwavering resolve to eliminate the menace.
In a statement posted on X, Shah expressed the nation's enduring gratitude towards the courage and sacrifices of its security forces tackling terrorism. He highlighted, "The country will always remain indebted to the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of our security forces."
The attack, executed by a suicide bomber from the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad, claimed the lives of 40 jawans. In response, the Indian Air Force conducted strikes on terror camps in Balakot, Pakistan.
