The Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), G P Singh, conducted a comprehensive review of the security situation in Kashmir on Saturday. He stressed the importance of adopting proactive measures to ensure peace in the region.
During a high-level meeting with senior officials and ground commanders, Singh highlighted the necessity for a proactive stance and reaffirmed a zero-tolerance policy towards militancy. This approach, according to Singh, is essential in maintaining the stability of the valley.
Earlier, Singh paid homage to 40 CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the tragic Pulwama terror attack in 2019, underscoring the sacrifices made by security forces in the ongoing battle against terrorism.
