Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth announced on Friday that the U.S. Defense Department has classified Anthropic as a 'supply-chain risk to national security.'
Hegseth stated that, effective immediately, no contractor, supplier, or partner working with the U.S. military is permitted to conduct any commercial activity with Anthropic.
This decision underscores the heightened concerns over supply-chain vulnerabilities impacting national security initiatives.
