This landmark decision seeks to enhance female representation in the House while ensuring no adverse effects on male representation or state quotas. Meghwal emphasized the fair distribution of new seats, ensuring that no segment suffers an imposition due to this adjustment.
Additionally, the new law will guarantee reservation for women from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes within the allocated women's quota, bolstering inclusivity in political representation.
