Punjab Police Dismantles Pakistan-Backed Terror Module
Punjab Police claim success in dismantling a Pakistan-backed terror module, arresting Sagar Singh and seizing arms and explosives. In a decisive operation, the Punjab Police announced they have dismantled a terror module allegedly backed by Pakistan's intelligence agency. This operation led to the arrest of Sagar Singh and the recovery of explosives and arms.
The arrest was a result of a joint effort with State Special Operation units based in Amritsar and Mohali. Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav stated that the accused was in contact with foreign handlers, linked to a grenade attack in Chandigarh.
Assistant Inspector General Sukhminder Singh Mann revealed that Singh gathered arms from Pakistan-based operatives. Singh, previously arrested in 2026 but released on bail, resurfaced to continue these illegal activities. Law enforcement agencies are intensively investigating to apprehend other associates and decode furtive communications.
