The National Investigation Agency (NIA) made a significant breakthrough on Sunday by arresting the main suspect behind the recent bomb explosion in West Bengal. The explosion resulted in the loss of one life and serious injuries to three others.

Ahidul Islam Molla, a resident of Bijoyganj Bazar area in South 24 Parganas district, was apprehended after an in-depth investigation revealed his involvement. The explosion took place at Dakshin Bamunia village and involved the preparation of explosive devices as part of a broader conspiracy.

NIA's probe highlighted Molla's role as a co-conspirator, not only in orchestrating the bomb-making process but also in attempting to destroy evidence. This arrest follows an earlier capture made by the West Bengal Police concerning the same incident.
