Gehlot Calls for Fair Probe in BJP MLA Assault Case

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has called for an impartial investigation into an assault case involving BJP MLA Jaideep Bihani. Gehlot emphasized the seriousness of the situation, especially since one of the accused belongs to the Dalit community. He urged the government to handle the matter sensitively.

In a recent development, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has demanded a fair investigation into an alleged assault incident involving BJP MLA Jaideep Bihani. The call for scrutiny comes after three individuals were arrested on charges of assaulting the legislator, according to the police.

Adding complexity to the case, Gehlot highlighted that Bihani had initially accused officials from the Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP) of assault. In a recent press conference, these officials presented counter-allegations as well as evidence of their injuries, casting doubt over the accusations against them.

Stressing the gravity of the situation, Gehlot pointed out the involvement of a Dalit community member among the officials. He urged the state administration to treat the issue with due seriousness, calling for an impartial investigation to uncover the truth and ensure justice for those wrongfully accused.
