India's Stand at Global Migration Summit
India is set to participate in the International Migration Review Forum in New York. Minister Kirti Vardhan Singh will represent India, addressing migration issues and Sustainable Development Goals. The event will feature interactive discussions and culminate with a 'Progress Declaration'. India will host a side-event on digital innovation in migration.

India is poised to make a significant impact at the upcoming International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) hosted by the United Nations in New York. Represented by Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment Kirti Vardhan Singh, the country will engage in discussions concerning migration and its link to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The IMRF will take place from May 4-8 and will serve as the foremost international platform for governments to discuss and assess progress on the 'Global Compact on Migration'. The forum will feature multiple interactive sessions, a policy debate, and is expected to produce a 'Progress Declaration'.
Singh will articulate India's national statement and participate in several discussions. Additionally, India will host a side-event titled 'Leveraging Digital Innovation in Migration Governance-The e-Migrate Experience of India,' to highlight its digital advancements in migration governance.
