Donald Trump expressed strong disapproval of a federal judge's decision to block his renovation efforts at the Kennedy Center. He labeled Judge Christopher Cooper an 'anti-Trump Hater' following the ruling that also demanded Trump's name be removed from the center.
Trump, responding on his Truth Social platform, hinted at backing down from the project, criticizing connections influencing the ruling, including Cooper's wife's past work with Attorney General Eric Holder. As Congress must approve any name changes to the center, the judge determined the board had exceeded its authority. The ruling has put a halt to Trump's ambitious renovation plans, initially slated for a two-year span starting in July.
