The statement followed Shah's discussion in Parliament, where he referred to historical issues over lands like Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura, and Kalapani, claimed by both nations. The remarks evoked significant attention and queries, prompting the ministry to reaffirm Nepal's commitment to resolving the matter diplomatically, through dialogue and cooperation involving historians and experts.
