Adilabad boils at 46.3 degree Celsius

Telangana continued to swelter with Adilabad district Wednesday recording the highest maximum temperature of 46.3 degree Celsius for the second day in a row. The India Meteorological Department has already issued a warning that heatwave conditions are very likely to prevail in isolated pockets of the state till May 31.

After Adilabad, Nalgonda and Hanamkonda recorded 45.8 degree Celsius each while Hyderabad recorded 41.8 degree Celsius. The IMD advised people not to expose themselves directly to sunlight and take necessary precautions due to the heatwave.

Parts of Telangana have been experiencing heatwave conditions for around a month now with the mercury crossing the 40 degree Celsius mark at several places.
