The Andhra Pradesh government suspended IRS Officer Jasti Krishna Kishore who is on deputation to the state government. Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney issued the order on Thursday suspending him based on the report of Industries, Infrastructure, Investment, and Commerce department.
"In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-rule (1) of rule 20 read with subrule (1)of rule 10 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1965, Government thereby places J Krishna Kishore. IRS under suspension With Immediate effect and shall continue t be under suspension in public interest until the conclusion of disciplinary proceedings," read the order. The chief secretary ordered to file a case and investigate the irregularities and take action within six months.
"The Director-General, ACB and Director General, CID shall register a case in this regard and investigate the irregularities and take necessary action within six months," the order said. Further, Krishna Kishore is ordered not to leave Amaravati until the investigation is completed.
Krishna Kishore had worked as CEO of the state Economic Development Board during the TDP government. (ANI)
