Democrats will defend their majority in the U.S. House of Representatives in November elections, in which about one in 10 of the chamber's 435 seats will be the goal of a competitive race, according to nonpartisan tracking services. Of the 43 races considered competitive, 22 currently have a Republican incumbent, 20 have a Democratic incumbent and one has an independent:
