The home minister conveyed his greetings through a series of tweets in multiple languages -- Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and English -- and hoped that the festivals would bring happiness, progress and prosperity to the lives of people.

Shah also wished Telugu people and those belonging to Karnataka on the occasion of Ugadi and their new year.

Shah wished the Sindhi community on the occasion of Cheti Chand, the birth anniversary of Lord Jhulelal ji.
