Slovak ex-PM Fico's party set to win election

The SMER-SSD party of former Prime Minister Robert Fico was set to win a Slovak parliamentary election, results from 98.13% of voting districts showed early on Sunday.

SMER-SSD held 23.42% of the vote, ahead of the liberal party Progresivne Slovensko (Progressive Slovakia, PS), which had led in exit polls, at 16.75%.
