DUP says UK PM Sunak key to Northern Ireland deal

The leader of Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party on Wednesday gave credit to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for enabling a deal on post-Brexit trade rules that is set to end the DUP's boycott of Northern Ireland's government.

"I think in fairness, credit to Rishi Sunak: he delivered where others haven't," Jeffrey Donaldson told BBC Radio Ulster.

"Boris Johnson promised us a lot of things he didn't deliver," he said. (Writing by Conor Humphries; editing by Sarah Young)
