Czechs ready to aid German initiative to help Ukraine's air defence - CTK news agency

The Czech Republic is prepared to take the role of an intermediary to support a German initiative to strengthen Ukraine's air defences, news agency CTK quoted Czech Defence Minister Jana Cernochova as saying on Wednesday.

Germany has appealed to European Union and NATO allies to bolster Ukraine's air defences as Russian missiles pound Ukrainian cities, while the Czechs are leading a separate initiative to procure artillery ammunition for Ukraine from outside Europe.
