Germany can't accept China's closer relations with Russia, Baerbock says

Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on Friday said Germany cannot accept China pursuing closer relations with Russia.
"If China openly pursues an ever closer partnership with Russia, which is waging an illegal war against Ukraine, ... we cannot accept this," Baerbock said after a meeting with her G7 counterparts in Capri, Italy.
"We call on China to make use of its influence on Putin," she added.
