After voting, she briefly interacted with journalists, flashed a victory sign, and then returned home.

In a significant political event, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee cast her vote at a polling station in south Kolkata's Bhabanipur area on Saturday afternoon.

Banerjee, who resides on Harish Chatterjee Street, arrived at the Mitra Institution school around 3.55 pm to exercise her democratic right. After fulfilling her civic duty, she stopped briefly to speak with journalists, flashing a confident victory sign before departing for her home.

Notably, Banerjee is the sitting MLA of Bhabanipur, a crucial assembly constituency within the Kolkata Dakshin Lok Sabha seat.
