In a sweeping victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the foremost political force in Arunachal Pradesh, securing 46 out of 60 assembly seats. This triumph underscores the party's robust influence in the region.
The election saw the National People's Party (NPP) winning five seats, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) taking three, and the People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) securing two. The Congress party managed to win just one seat, while independent candidates captured three seats.
This significant win for the BJP marks a transformative shift in Arunachal Pradesh's political landscape, reflecting a strong mandate from the electorate.
