The Congress party is currently leading in six of the ten Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, creating a tough challenge for the ruling BJP, according to Election Commission trends as of noon on Tuesday.
Prominent Congress figures, including Kumari Selja in Sirsa and Deepender Singh Hooda in Rohtak, hold significant leads over their BJP rivals. Selja leads Ashok Tanwar by 1,23,327 votes, while Hooda is ahead of Arvind Sharma by 1,22,185 votes.
Notably, in Ambala, Varun Chaudhary leads BJP’s Banto Kataria by 26,426 votes. Meanwhile, in Gurugram, Raj Babbar leads Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh by 22,012 votes. The vote count began at 8 am Tuesday, marking significant shifts from the 2019 general elections where BJP secured all ten seats in Haryana.
