Election Dynamics in Jharkhand: BJP Leads Amidst Stiff Competition

Union Minister and current MP Arjun Munda trails Congress's Kalicharan Munda in Khunti by approximately 77,227 votes, according to Election Commission data. Over in Singhbhum, JMM's Joba Manjhi maintains a strong lead of 83,589 votes against BJP's Geeta Kora, wife of former Jharkhand chief minister, Madhu Koda.

In Palamu, BJP MP VD Ram edges ahead with a substantial 140,000 votes over RJD's Mamata Bhuiyan. Similarly, BJP's Bidyut Baran Mahto commands a hefty lead of 158,116 votes in Jamshedpur. Counting continues under tight security, with results keenly awaited by political watchers.
